Select EMA, SMA, WMA or RMA and set fast, medium and slow periods. Read their order, slope and the observation zone around the fast average.
WATCH marks qualifying contact with the fast-average zone in an aligned trend. RECOVERY requires subsequent recovery conditions; neither is simply an MA crossover.
Choose higher-timeframe and volume filters, then adjust the panel and label count. Narrower conditions can reduce or eliminate labels.

Actual PJP 4H screenshots: averages, observation labels and the reading panel.
The fast, medium and slow averages appear together. ATR, a measure of recent price range, sets the width of the fast-average zone.
WATCH starts an observation. RECOVERY requires the subsequent conditions within the configured lifetime. Neither places an order.
Flow shows the trend state; Distance measures the close from the fast average in ATR units. MIXED means the averages do not form an aligned trend.
Observations use closed candles. The higher-timeframe filter uses the previous completed candle, so confirmation is delayed.
Both screenshots use PJP 4H and EMA 20/60/120. Switch to the view with daily-trend and volume confirmation enabled.
WATCH marks a candle touching the zone around the fast average while the trend is aligned. It is not an MA crossover marker.
After WATCH, upward RECOVERY requires a bullish candle to close above the zone and the previous high. Downward RECOVERY requires a bearish candle to close below the zone and the previous low.
Higher-timeframe trend agreement: When enabled, WATCH and RECOVERY require matching chart and higher-timeframe trends. Volume relative to its average: When enabled, WATCH and RECOVERY require candle volume at least equal to average volume × the chosen multiplier.
UP and DOWN indicate direction. Labels appear on closed candles; they are not buy or sell orders.
