How do AI investing and quant investing differ?
AI investing uses artificial intelligence to assist analysis or strategy development. Quant investing evaluates ideas with data and explicit rules; it does not require AI. ChartArmory supplies chart tools and editable source code for moving averages, volume and price conditions. The products do not train AI models or automatically recommend securities.
Does adding an indicator enable automated investing?
Automated investing may mean scheduled contributions, allocation or trade execution. For automated trading, chart conditions, alerts and live order execution are separate components to design and verify. A chart marker or TradingView alert is not a filled order. ChartArmory does not include account management, a robo-adviser, broker connectivity or a trading bot.
How can Pine Script support quantitative strategy testing?
Write down symbols, timeframes and entry and exit rules, then check whether the indicator matches them. A performance backtest needs a separate strategy script and execution assumptions. TradingView strategies simulate fills; these are not live trading records. Include fees, slippage and periods not used to tune settings. A selected favorable chart does not establish overall performance.
Which rules can you inspect on a chart?
MA Guide V2 shows moving-average flow and WATCH/RECOVERY. EdgeBreak displays earnings, volume and breakout checks with risk lines. Livermore Market Key V3 compares two instruments and a combined record. Kairi Rebound marks daily moving-average deviation, a first rebound and exit conditions. 200 Shield shows an ON/OFF state around the 200-day average and a past test of that chart. Compare the actual charts and product scope below; none guarantees returns or a strategy advantage.
Can AI help modify Pine Script source code?
Source editions allow personal use and editing. If an AI coding tool suggests changes, recheck Pine v6 syntax, timeframe, closed-bar behavior, future-data references and the actual plots. Compilation is not strategy validation. Before sending code to an external service, check the license and its data handling. Never embed broker passwords or API keys.
What do source editions and custom requests include?
A source edition is a one-time purchase of personal-use code and installation guidance. TradingView accounts, plans and market data cost extra. Check each product and its delivery/refund terms. If you need different inputs or chart rules, describe them through the Store. Order automation is not included merely because a custom indicator was requested; scope and price need agreement first.
