Check the publication
Sign in to the intended TradingView account and read the script publication. Confirm the author and exact script name. Do not assume that similar names identify the same tool.
Add it to the chart
On the script publication, use the control that adds it to your chart. Invite-only scripts require author permission. If access is missing, confirm the account and contact the author through their stated process; never share your password.
Confirm the inputs
Check the symbol, timeframe and indicator settings against the documentation. Save a practice layout and record the inputs. Start with a readable chart so overlapping drawings do not hide the indicator.
Verify before relying on it
Observe how the tool behaves as bars develop and close. Adding a script is not the same as configuring an alert or placing an order. Check alert behavior separately and revisit the official help if controls differ.
If an invite-only script is missing
Check the exact TradingView username on the logged-in account, not only the display name or email. Check whether that account has actually received access and whether you opened the correct script publication. Do not purchase again just to troubleshoot a missing tab. Use the publisher’s documented support channel and never send your password. After adding the script, verify its title on the chart and record its inputs and timeframe. Installation, alerts and broker orders are separate steps. Buying an indicator does not upgrade the TradingView plan or its platform limits.
